A
Image Compare & Difference Checker
Compare two images side by side, overlay them, or highlight pixel-level differences for screenshot review, design QA, and visual regression checks.
B
Revised / Version B
How it works
Find image differences in three steps
Add two image versions, choose a comparison mode, and tune sensitivity to quickly locate changed areas.
- 01
Add two versions
Choose the original and revised image by dropping files or browsing your device.
- 02
Choose a compare mode
Use side-by-side, overlay, or difference heatmap to inspect changes.
- 03
Locate and export
Tune sensitivity, review the changed area, and download a diff image.
Supported formats and modes
Accepts JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, and BMP. Different dimensions are drawn onto Version A’s comparison canvas; originals are never uploaded.
Common use cases
- Website and app screenshot regression
- Design, poster, and export QA
- Checking image quality after compression or conversion
- Reviewing scanned document versions
FAQ
Häufig gestellte Fragen
How should I set difference sensitivity?
The default value of 8 works well for most screenshots. Lower values catch subtle color changes; higher values help ignore compression noise.
Can I compare images with different dimensions?
Yes. Version B is drawn into Version A’s dimensions and the page tells you when alignment was applied. For strict pixel regression, use matching dimensions first.
Are my images uploaded or saved?
No. Files are read through browser object URLs, and analysis plus diff generation happen on this device. Temporary URLs are released when you leave the page.
Why does this page not use FFmpeg or MediaBunny?
This is a pixel comparison task, not video container or audio/video encoding. Canvas plus a Worker is lighter and better suited to comparing images in the browser.
Can I download the difference image?
Yes. After analysis, choose Download diff image to export a PNG heatmap. Your two source images remain unchanged.
Your images stay on your device
Image decoding, alignment, pixel analysis, and diff rendering all happen in your browser. The pixel loop runs in a Worker so large images do not block the interface.
