Will fading change my original file?
No. Your source file stays unchanged; the tool creates a new downloadable file.
How long should a fade be?
Try 0.1–0.5 seconds for notifications, 0.3–1 second for narration, and 2–5 seconds for music endings. Let the content rhythm and preview guide the choice.
Why cannot fade areas overlap?
Each fade is limited to half the file length so an accidental setting does not reduce the whole track too far.
Which export format should I use?
Choose WAV/FLAC for later editing or archiving, MP3 for broad compatibility, or M4A for good quality in a smaller file.
Can I use it on mobile?
Yes. Use a recent browser and keep the page open while a larger file is being processed.
