직접 이득 제어

Use dB controls to raise or lower the level of the entire track precisely.

Keep output headroom while boosting to reduce clipping and distortion.

Audio volume changer guide

Audio formats you can adjust

Add MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, or Opus audio, then export a new MP3, M4A, WAV, or FLAC file. Browser and source-codec support can vary for less common files.

MP3

The most compatible choice for sharing, phones, and cars.

WAV

Uncompressed PCM for editing and production workflows.

M4A

AAC audio in a compact format for Apple and mobile devices.

FLAC

Lossless audio for archiving or another editing pass.

How to change audio volume online

Adjust a whole track in three clear steps, without installing an app or sending the source file to a server.

  1. 01

    오디오 파일 추가

Drop an audio file onto the page or choose it from your device.

  2. 02

    Choose a gain

Use a preset or enter a precise gain from -24 dB to +24 dB. Listen before exporting.

  3. 03

    Keep peaks safe

Leave peak protection on to prevent a boost from driving the output above -1 dBFS.

  4. 04

    Export your result

Choose a format and quality, apply the change, then download the new file.

When a volume change is useful

A direct gain adjustment raises or lowers the entire file by a predictable amount. It is a good fit when you know exactly how much the level needs to move.

Quiet voice recordings

Give narration, lectures, calls, and interviews a gentle boost before placing them in a video or presentation.

Music and sound effects

Lower a track before mixing it under dialogue, or raise a sound effect that gets lost in a timeline.

Consistent deliveries

Make exported clips sit closer to the rest of a project before sending them to a teammate or client.

Personal listening copies

Create a quieter copy for headphones or a louder one for a small speaker without changing the original file.

Private, local audio processing

The file stays on your device. MediaBunny and Web Workers analyze, preview, and encode audio in your browser; the source is not uploaded to MediaKit. Clearing the file or closing this page releases local URLs and processing memory.

FAQ

Audio volume changer FAQ

Are audio files uploaded?

No. The page processes files locally in your browser and does not send the audio to MediaKit servers.

What does dB mean here?

Decibels describe the gain applied to the whole signal. +6 dB is approximately twice the signal amplitude; -6 dB approximately halves it.

Why is the applied gain lower than my setting?

Peak protection reduces a boost when the source already has loud peaks. This leaves headroom and helps avoid clipping.

Will this fix uneven volume inside a recording?

No. This tool applies one gain value to the full file. Use the audio normalizer when you want a target average loudness instead.

Does changing volume reduce quality?

MP3 and M4A exports are re-encoded. Choose WAV or FLAC when you need a lossless output, and keep the original file.

Can I use it on a phone?

Yes, with a recent browser. For large files, keep the page open and leave enough free memory on the device.
