GUIDE
This online ID photo tool identifies the person in your photo in the current browser, removes the original background, and creates a white, blue, red, or custom-color version. It is useful for common 1-inch and 2-inch electronic photos. Always check the current requirements published by the organization receiving your photo before submitting it.
Choose a front-facing JPG, PNG, or WebP portrait with even lighting and clear edges around the hair and shoulders. Backlighting, a very small subject, group photos, and busy backgrounds can reduce cutout quality.
Select “Remove background”. Your browser downloads the AI model when needed and processes the photo no seu dispositivo. Then choose a background color and size, and use zoom and vertical position to improve the framing.
Choose JPG or PNG, then download the result. JPG is usually practical for standard online applications; PNG is useful when you want fewer compression artifacts. Check the color, pixels, file size, and the receiving organization’s rules yourself.
| Format | Support | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| JPG / JPEG | Import and export | A common phone, camera, and application format. JPG export is re-encoded at high quality and cannot contain transparency. |
| PNG | Import and export | Useful for screenshots, illustrations, or lossless pixels; files are commonly larger than JPG. |
| WebP | Import | A modern web format. Processed photos can be downloaded as JPG or PNG. |
The limit is 25 MB per image. HEIC, TIFF, SVG, PDF, and animated images are not directly supported; convert them to JPG or PNG first. Built-in sizes use 300-DPI-equivalent pixels: 1 inch 295 × 413 px (25 × 35 mm), 2 inch 413 × 579 px (35 × 49 mm), and small 2 inch 413 × 531 px (35 × 45 mm).

Create a consistent portrait for a résumé, badge, or internal directory. For formal identity documents, use the organization’s approved capture and review process.
Create a background draft for review, but countries and organizations differ on size, expression, shadows, eyewear, and other rules. A generated image alone does not prove acceptance.
Your source photo, AI cutout, background composition, and download encoding all run in this browser tab. They are not uploaded to this site’s servers, and no account is required. The first background-removal run may download the AI model needed to run locally; your browser can cache it later. A downloaded result is saved where you choose. Replacing the photo, starting over, or closing the page releases temporary image data held by this tool.
FAQ
No. Photo processing and export happen no seu navegador. The first use downloads the AI model that runs locally; that does not upload your original photo.
The first use downloads and initializes the background-removal model. Network speed, device performance, and image size also matter. Later use in the same browser can reuse cached assets.
Choose white, blue, red, or any custom color. Always choose the color specified by the organization receiving the photo.
Not necessarily. These are common 300-DPI-equivalent pixel sizes. Locations, document types, and online portals can specify different pixels, proportions, file sizes, colors, or head size. Follow the official instructions.
JPG is usually the smaller, practical option for standard uploads. Choose PNG if the receiver specifically requests it or you want fewer compression artifacts. The tool creates a new image during export.
Use a well-lit single-person photo with a clear edge, then adjust zoom and vertical position after removal. Hair, transparent objects, hard shadows, and complex scenes can still challenge automatic segmentation.
