What is EXIF?

EXIF is extra information written by cameras and phones, such as capture time, lens, focal length, aperture, ISO, orientation, and GPS.

Does removing metadata reduce image quality?

Cleaning re-encodes the image, so file size or quality can change slightly. ICC color profiles may not be preserved.

Can I keep the photo orientation?

Yes. The default option bakes visual orientation into pixels so the photo stays upright in more software.

Why is GPS or camera data missing?

The original file must contain those fields. Screenshots and platform-processed images often do not.

How many images can I process?

Up to 50 images per batch, with a 50 MB limit per file. Parsing concurrency is limited to keep the browser responsive.
