SRT is widely accepted by desktop video editors and media platforms. WebVTT is designed for the web and supports browser text tracks. Both keep caption text and timing.

How precise can the timing be?

Timecodes support milliseconds. You can type seconds or HH:MM:SS.mmm in the timing fields, then use the timeline for quick visual adjustments.

Does this burn subtitles into the video?

No. This page exports a subtitle file. Use the related video subtitle tool when you need captions rendered into every video frame.

Are my files uploaded?
