How do I make a GIF look sharper?
Use the Balanced or High Quality preset, keep the source range short, and choose a width close to the display size. Increasing FPS alone does not always improve clarity.
Why is the GIF larger than the video?
GIF uses a limited color palette and no modern video codec, so complex motion can produce large files. Lower the width, FPS, colors or lossy setting to reduce it.
Can I convert video to GIF on a phone?
Yes, on a current mobile browser. Short clips and smaller widths use less memory; a desktop browser is better for large files.
How long can the GIF be?
