Audio equalizer guide
Add common music, recording, and voice-note formats. A file can be opened when its codec is supported by your current browser; the file extension alone does not guarantee that.
A widely compatible choice for music, podcasts, voice notes, and sharing.
Uncompressed audio for editing, interviews, and recording archives.
Efficient audio often made by phones, Apple devices, and recorders.
Lossless or web-friendly formats for music libraries and speech workflows.
No account, installation, or upload is required. Listen to the same local file while you adjust the settings.
Drop in a file or select one from your computer or phone. The waveform and basic level data are read locally.
Use Bass Boost for more weight, Treble Boost for more detail, or Voice Enhance to reduce rumble and bring dialogue forward.
Start with Balanced, then switch between Original and EQ preview while playback continues. Keep boosts modest when the source is already loud.
Choose MP3, M4A, WAV, or FLAC. The optional smooth ceiling helps prevent harsh clipping after boosts.
Equalization shapes tonal balance; it does not reconstruct detail that was never recorded or fully repair severe distortion.
Use Voice Enhance to cut low rumble and make spoken words easier to hear on a phone or laptop.
Add restrained low-end weight to a thin track, or add high-frequency detail to a dull recording.
Give narration more presence before adding it to a video or sharing a lesson recording.
Make a quick mobile recording more intelligible before sending or archiving it.
MediaBunny decodes and exports audio in a dedicated Web Worker in this browser. The source file is not uploaded to MediaKit servers or copied to cloud storage. Removing the file, cancelling a task, or closing the page releases local browser resources.
FAQ
No. Analysis, live preview, and export happen locally in your browser.
The live preview uses your browser’s audio engine for instant A/B switching. The export uses the same filter settings in the MediaBunny Worker and then encodes the chosen output format, so lossy MP3 or M4A encoding can add a small difference.
Start with Voice Enhance at Balanced. It applies a high-pass filter around 90 Hz and boosts presence around 2.2 kHz. Lower the intensity if the voice becomes too sharp.
A boost can push samples above the digital maximum. This setting applies a smooth ceiling only near that limit, avoiding the abrupt crackle made by hard clipping.
Use MP3 for the broadest compatibility, M4A for efficient AAC sharing, WAV for uncompressed editing, and FLAC for lossless archiving.
Yes, up to 500 MB. Keep the tab open, close memory-heavy apps or tabs, and use a recent browser for best results.
